This is a free Yahtzee score card that works on your screen and on paper. Pick a score in each box when you finish a turn and the sheet adds the upper section, the 35-point bonus, the 100-point extra-Yahtzee bonuses and the grand total for every player. It handles 1 to 6 players, keeps several games on one page, and remembers them on your device. If you would rather use pen and paper, switch to the blank version and print or save as PDF 1, 2 or 4 score sheets per page. There is nothing to download and no account to create, and it works on phones, tablets and computers.

How to use the Yahtzee score sheet

  1. Choose Players (1 to 6) and type the names in the heading of each column.
  2. After each turn, tap the box you filled in that column and choose the score. Crossing a box out is the 0 choice. Each box only offers scores that five dice can make, so a typing mistake cannot happen.
  3. If a player rolls a second Yahtzee, choose the number of extra Yahtzees in the Yahtzee bonus row. It becomes available only once the Yahtzee box holds 50.
  4. Keep an eye on the totals as they update. Under the sheet, the status line tells each player how many more points the upper section needs for the 35-point bonus, or that it is out of reach.
  5. When every box is filled, the status line names the winner. Pressing Add game keeps this sheet and starts a fresh one, and tabs let you switch between games. The All games table shows total points and games won over the whole session.
  6. To print, choose how many sheets go on a page under Sheets per page, then press Print / PDF and pick your printer or “Save as PDF”. Games you filled in print as they are.

For a blank sheet, choose Blank to print in Mode. Preview displays a single page, so use your printer’s copies setting for more.

What does a Yahtzee score sheet look like?

A score sheet has 13 boxes in two sections, and every box gets filled once by each player. The upper section is Aces, Twos, Threes, Fours, Fives and Sixes: you add up only the dice that show that number. The lower section handles combinations:

BoxWhat you needScore
3 of a kindThree dice the sameTotal of all five dice
4 of a kindFour dice the sameTotal of all five dice
Full houseThree of one number and a pair25
Small straightFour dice in a row30
Large straightFive dice in a row40
YahtzeeAll five dice the same50
ChanceAnythingTotal of all five dice

Each turn you roll up to three times, then fill one empty box. If the roll suits none of them, you enter 0. A filled box is locked for the rest of the game.

How does the upper section bonus work?

If your six upper boxes add up to 63 or more, you get a bonus of 35 points. Rolling three of each number gives exactly 63, which is why that number was chosen. The sheet shows the bonus as soon as you pass 63, and the status line tells you when it can no longer be reached.

How do extra Yahtzees score?

Every Yahtzee after your first is worth a 100-point bonus, provided you scored 50 in the Yahtzee box. Mark the bonus, then fill one empty box with that roll. In the published rules the order is: the matching upper box with the total of the dice, then 3 of a kind or 4 of a kind with the total of the dice, and if those are full, Chance or any other combination box scored at its usual value (a full house is 25). If you scored 0 in the Yahtzee box, you cannot earn the 100-point bonus, but you still place the roll the same way. The sheet only counts the bonus when the Yahtzee box holds 50.

Where do these rules come from?

Hasbro’s published rules sheet for the game (instructions.hasbro.com, rules PDF checked on 17 October 2026) is the source for the box values, the 63 and 35 bonus and the 100-point Yahtzee bonus. We wrote the explanations here in our own words. Our team designed the score sheet itself.

Frequently asked questions

Is this Yahtzee score card free?

Yes. Use it and print it at no cost, with no sign-up needed. Your sheets live only in your browser and are never uploaded.

Can I print the Yahtzee score sheets?

Yes. Pick Blank to print for empty sheets, or fill the sheet online and print it. Set 1, 2 or 4 sheets per page, press Print / PDF and choose your printer or Save as PDF. The output is black and white with plain borders, so it works on any printer.

How many players can use one score card?

Up to 6, one column each. With 1 player it works as a solo score sheet. Extra columns narrow each one on a phone, so you may prefer 4 sheets per page when you print 6 columns.

Can I keep several games on one page?

Yes. Press Add game for a new sheet. Earlier games stay in tabs, and the All games table totals points and wins for each player. It keeps the latest 12 games, and you can delete any one of them.

Are a score card and a score sheet the same thing?

Yes. Both names refer to the page with 13 boxes where each player writes scores. This page gives you both, in an online and a printable version.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Tap a box and pick the score from the list your phone shows. The sheet fits the screen width without sideways scrolling.
