Kill The King presents a court in which the monarch can command wealth and executions, but cannot escape the dangers of the throne. Claimants are not limited to strangers: sisters and brothers may also want the crown at any cost. The player can take on the burden of royalty or step into the role of a Royal Assassin.

Power and peril around the throne

The king stands at the center of the realm's power. His decisions can enrich people or send them to execution, and he lives according to his own pleasure. That authority does not make the royal position secure. The crown attracts claimants, including members of the same family, and killing the monarch can serve their pursuit of the throne.

The premise therefore offers two sides of the royal danger. One is the heavy burden carried by a ruler who must live with threats from potential successors. The other is the path of a Royal Assassin willing to act against the king. The conflict is political and personal, placing ambition, family, and the crown inside the same confrontation.

How to play Kill The King

The only action assigned by the control instruction is the Space button. The premise supplies the surrounding stakes: the monarch holds wide authority, relatives and other claimants desire the crown, and the Royal Assassins represent the direct danger to the king.
