About Dots and Boxes 2

Completing a square claims that box, and the larger box total wins. Matches can use three computer difficulty levels or a local two-person setup. Quick Game begins with 40 percent of the lines already filled.

Objective: Complete more boxes than the opposing side.

Core loop

  • Click an empty gap to draw a line, close squares when possible, and alternate turns while the box totals grow.

How to play Dots and Boxes 2

  1. Choose a board size and opponent format.
  2. Click or tap an empty space between two dots to draw one line.
  3. Complete the fourth side of a square to claim that box.
  4. Continue until the board is resolved and compare the number of completed boxes.
