Tableau moves also stay within one suit. A card can be placed only when it is exactly one rank higher or one rank lower than the card beneath it.

Those adjacent-rank transfers reorganize the crescent and expose cards needed by the central piles. Completing the game requires using that flexibility while eventually moving the entire outer tableau inward.

Objective: Move all cards from the outer tableau piles to the eight central foundations.

Core loop

• Rearrange same-suit adjacent ranks in the tableau, then build the foundations upward or downward by suit.

How to play Crescent Solitaire

1. Click a card with the mouse.
2. Move a tableau card only onto a same-suit card exactly one rank higher or lower.
3. Build ace foundations upward to kings and king foundations downward to aces.
4. Transfer every outer card to the eight foundations.
